Laptop
and PDA repairs
Laptops and PDA's need to be
repaired in special workshops which contain specific tools.
To this end we will need your laptop or PDA to be sent to
our dedicated workshop. See Repair Form
for the sending procedure.
When your laptop or PDA arrives
at our workshop, a member of our repair team will contact
you as soon as we have inspected your laptop or PDA (please
note this may take 5-7 days). If your laptop or PDA requires
parts or will take longer than estimated to repair we will
contact you. We will always let you know what cost are involved.
When the repair is complete and has passed our rigorous testing
procedures we will then inform you to arrange payment and
insured delivery back to you.
Sometimes we may find a laptop
or PDA is uneconomical to repair or maybe the repair will
cost too much. If you decide you do not want us to continue
with the repair, we may offer you the chance to let us keep
your laptop or PDA for scrap, wavering the inspection fee
(£40 + VAT for laptops, £20 + VAT for PDA's).
Otherwise we will send your laptop / PDA back to you.
